About Us

In 2009 Family Nenni acquired the old vineyards established between 1260-1272 by the Monks from the Abbey of San Galgano.

The Estate is located at an altitude of 630 mt in the heart of a natural reserve, plenty of wildlife and forests, few kilometers South of Siena. The vineyards were restored by an International team of oenologist keeping the same growing shape (medieval “alberello”), the same methodology (organic and handmade work), the same passion for sangiovese.

Our wine are rare because our production is limited: we only use grapes hand grown by us and with a specific methodology that is not suited for large farms.

The flagship wine Sangalgano is only released in the best harvests and every front label is differently cut while the back label is numbered by hand.
